1q. volume of th cube=54
and h=2l as all sides are equal
in cube area=l*b*h=54
l*l*2l=54
l=3

if there is a weight on (n<10) grams then there is a weight on 2n grams as well..so combined there is a weight of 3n grams..now the condition is that n<10 and n is an integer..

let there be x such weights which are less than 10 grams..so total weight would be equal to x(n+2n)=108.

i.e. 3nx=108.
x= 108/(3n)
x=36/n.
now for x to be least..n has to be maximum..therefore with n as an integer and n<10 we can have n=9 which gives x=4 and choice B is answer.
